Read more: Lisi LittleUpon meeting Lisi Little one thing is very evident, she is extremely passionate about her art and everything surrounding her art.  She is a voracious artist and have been know to produce detailed pieces at a rate of one per day.  She has said that if she is not working on her art she is thinking about her art.  Lisi is also a makeup artist which compliments her pencil art perfectly.  Allowing her to practice certain techniques even when she is not actually creating exquisite pieces.  Having grown up with nature all around her, she became fascinated with Art from a very young age.  Drawing was a constant fixture in her early childhood years as it continues to be for her now.

Originally from Marabella, a town just outside of San Fernando, Lisi attended Marabella Anglican Girls School, Marabella Junior Secondary and Marabella Senior Comprehensive. It was at the Juinor Secondary level where her talents started to blossom. She was chosen/voted as best artist in Junior High. Lisi would tell you she worked very hard to attain this award something that is very easy to believe give her current work ethic and constant self improvement when it comes to her art.  Lisi seems to be constantly trying to push herself with increasingly difficult pieces to capture more detail and realism.

Mainly self trained, Lisi art focuses on the human form and the complexities therein.  After a long hiatus from producing art Lisi felt that part of herself was being lost and threw herself back into her passion.  It didn't take long for her work to gain attention and recognition.  She was featured as Artist of The Week in the OMG magazine in 2014.  Since that time it has given her even more of a drive to continue developing and creating visually stimulating pieces that grab and holds one attention.  Lisi says she "consume herself with Art everyday", and can be found reading, researching, practicing and refining her craft.

Art is truly her passion.  One which seems to have enveloped this artist totaly and completely.  That passion Read more: Lisi Littleflows out of her and is quite evident in the work she produces. Not one to limit herself, Lisi works in Pencils, Pastels and Watercolour.  With such a drive and passion Lisi is on a path to amazing things that would see her regognised in many areas.  This she firmly believes herself and can be seen in her mantra which she strongly stands by, "Dare to dream BIG, or don't dream at all".

We are looking forward to seeing great things from this artist and are proud that she is part of the MYA family.

She has participated and won many art competitions during her childhood years. At the age of 14,she was taken under the wing of the late Michael V..Ashby, who at the time was the Head of Handicraft at The Community Development in ST.Anns. Having had this experience, she learnt the use of such mediums as clay in all their textures, metal embossing ,wire bending, jewelry making , and worked with other indigenous materials around her, to make memorial works of art.

Currently she is working with sheet metal and forming the most amazing sculpture pieces, from which inspiration is drawn from nature. Alexis's goal as an artist, is to tap into all that nature has to offer, through the use of naturals materials, and create wonderful works of art and push the envelope as much as any artist can.
